Uninstall Zend Server on Mac

Mac is awesome, however, the out frustration might be when you want to uninstall an application. The drag and drop into trash concept to uninstall an application is simple, but it leaves a lot of junks in your computer as well.

Zend official instruction of uninstallation is (http://files.zend.com/help/Zend-Server-6/content/mac_uninstalling_zend_server.htm):

  1. Stop all Zend Server processes
  2. Delete all Zend Server installed files
  3. Remove the .app from /Applications
  4. Remove Zend users

This is a bit tedious, in fact, there is a handy script installed with Zend Server at the first place, you could execute by following to uninstall zend server:

sudo /usr/local/zend/bin/uninstall.sh
